Happy Monday to You

Hello All!

Holiday angel Sarah Guilford (morning class) and her group of angel friends are working on a special project:

As the holidays are approaching, we want to help those who have helped us. We have adopted two veterans, Gary and Mike, both 50 year old males. We want to give them some presents that can make their holiday special. Gary just moved into stable housing and is very interested in construction and anything cowboy related. He also loves working with tools. Mike loves playing his guitar and listening to rock n' roll music. He would love anything music related, as well as winter clothing (size medium to large), and a men's messenger bag. If you would like to help, you can bring presents or money to Mrs. Erceg's room S-4 by tomorrow, Tuesday 12/17 (go see her at lunch). I know it is short notice, but we would really like to help! Even $1.00 will be fine.It would be greatly appreciated!

REMINDER:  Please ask your parents for a holiday card and some candy for your site.  We will make gifts in the classroom too.  Think of what you want to put on a Santa hat that reflects your department's specialty. (I will provide the hat).  For Kaiser...we are putting "THRIVE".  On other medical, dental and veterinary, let's come up with some clever sayings to wish everyone a great
holiday.

DUE WED. 12/18:

 

1. Quiz 6/7
2. "KEY TERMS" MT project -> Define word part, create word with that word part and then define the word.  Please type or write very neatly!  If I can't read it, I can't grade it.
3. Please bring in a holiday card or thank you card for your site to work on in class 12/18. Ask your parents if you can buy some candy or treats to share with the staff at your site too.  We will be making little gifts in class on Wednesday, so bring your crafts if you'd like and your crafty ways! 
4. TIME SHEET(S) for the week of 12/9 (and 12/2 if you did not turn it in!!!) 
5. TRAINING AGREEMENTS (2-part white/yellow form): If you have not turned it in, please do so.  KAISER INTERNS - no worries, just turn it in without a supervisor signature if you don't have that part done, okay? I will take care of it.
6. Write in your journal about military time, and how it is used at a hospital or at your site.  Practice "telling time" in military time.
7. Journal every day!  Be thorough and write in detail.  A paragraph is fine...but make it count! You can put three or four journal entries on one page, both sides, to save paper. You will benefit greatly by working hard on your journal.  Believe me!
