Thank you for working on the gifts today.
For those that were absent, here is a way to collect CC hours over the holiday:
For CC hours from
12/21/13 to 1/5/14 you will need:
1.
A time sheet (use one for the entire holiday
period). Have a PARENT write name/sign
time sheet. Accuracy is very important,
so be sure to record hours carefully.
Set a timer at the house or on your phone to go off each hour. Document hours on the quarter hour if you do
less than one hour, example: 15 min., 30 min., 45, min. (if more… 1:30, etc.)
Directions:
1.

Go to
newsletter tab and read the newsletter.
Where is the list of “newly certified” folks? Can you see your name on that list this
summer….or before June 2015? You are
eligible to take the exam as soon as you turn 18 and you can apply to take the
exam before you are 18. What do you like about the newsletter? How can you earn “Continuing Education
Credit” via the newsletter? Answer these
questions by typing out the question and then the answer.
3.
Create a
PPT presentation, 3-minute oral presentation, or write a 3-page essay
(double-spaced, 12 font, New Times Roman) on the benefits of certifying as a
medical assistant, how to apply and take the exam and lastly, the benefits of
belonging to the organization “CMAA”.
This should help you earn at least 10
hours of time toward your 180 community classroom hours goal!
Take care,
Mrs. Erceg
